We would normally be in full planning mode for the Summer Fete this year, which would be held in a months time! Given that we’ve had to inevitably postpone this event (either for much later in the year of 2021), we wanted to still do something fun for you all!
We thought a fun and easy activity to do would be to hold a virtual fancy dress competition! We would have had a fancy dress competition at the Summer Fete, with the theme All Around The World. So, let’s move digitally.
Categories are CHILDREN, ADULTS, FAMILY GROUPS or BUSINESSES. Yep, businesses. Even if you’re currently closed, let’s get you involved.
What do you need to do?
Get creative and dress up within the theme of All Around the World! You can be as creative as you want, recycle, make outfits, buy outfits – whatever you want to do.
Get your photos up on social media – let’s spread some fun around the community! You can either TAG us on social (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter), or use the hashtag #MENTERFANCY and we’ll follow you. Not on social media? Send us the photo by email on menwww@aber.ac.uk.
Judging will be at 6pm on Saturday 23rd May. There are 4 prizes available!
