The Menter Aberystwyth Awards shine a spotlight on the remarkable achievements and dedication of individuals, organisations, and businesses across the Aberystwyth area. These awards honour the passion, innovation, and hard work that make our community thrive.
Each year, 10–12 distinct categories recognise excellence in a range of fields—culminating in the prestigious Overall Business of the Year Award. Every category is crafted to celebrate a unique aspect of outstanding contribution to local life.
Finalists—typically three per category, though occasionally four—are carefully chosen through a robust process involving applications, shortlisting, and final judging by an independent panel of experts.
The awards ceremony brings together shortlisters, sponsors, and community champions for an inspiring evening of recognition, celebration, and connection. It’s our chance to applaud the people and enterprises that make Aberystwyth exceptional.
